Mommy & Me Program
March 07, 2023Our Mommy & Me (or Daddy & Me!) program is an amazing introduction into exploration and discovery! Children will participate in fun games that challenge their sensory needs and social skills. Parent & Me will also help educate children on their first steps into gymnastics. Your child will participate in circuit courses, swing from the rings, learn their first rolls and hop and bounce on our tumble track and trampoline. These are tools that improve basic movements at their stage of development and help them learn fundamentals while they grow big and strong!
Our Garden State Trampoline Academy preschool program is hardly a typical preschool gymnastics program! Our classes are designed exactly for what children need most in these formative years. One of the most challenging objectives is to have your child behave in a controlled atmosphere. While following directions, waiting their turn, and paying attention. We have created structured, progressive, and unique lesson plans for your child to grow through. We have taken the time to incorporate not just physical activities but also educational activities.
The classes are made up of six toddlers with one coach. Each Toddler group rotates through four different stations during the 50-minute class. Stations are designed for constant movement so the mini obstacle courses will keep the action going. Parents don’t worry if you haven’t done this before. Each class has a certified coach who will guide you and make sure the class is operating effectively. This class is perfect for bonding with your child and for an added fun time you can invite the entire playgroup to sign up for the same class time!
Coach Gabi has been around gymnastics as long as she has been walking. When she was younger, she competed in artistic gymnastics for 10 years. During this time is when she started her passion for coaching gymnastics. Starting off as an assistant coach helping with recreational classes when she was 15 is where she learned the proper ways to spot and coach young gymnasts. As she got older, her experience and knowledge has continued to grow, and she has been coaching recreational classes and competitive teams with gymnasts of all ages and skill levels for over 6 years. She has been with GSTA for over a year, and she is always excited to share her passion for gymnastics with her students.
